Continuing Education Credits will be offered for Human Resource professionals (Recertification credits towards RHR, SPHR & GPHR through HRCI), Insurance agents (credits through the Ohio Department of Insurance) and Dietitians (from the Commission on Dietetic Registration). Please note this conference DOES NOT offer CHES Category 1 contact hours and continuing nursing education.

Brief Description:
Attend Ohio's premier health promotion conference to help you motivate & sustain a healthy & productive work environment. This conference will feature: best practices in employee health promotion; viable strategies for creating healthier organizations; how some of Ohio's healthiest companies got there; successful wellness initiatives to address obesity, sedentary lifestyles, smoking and chronic stress; how to build a culture of health; incentives to engage employees; and the competitive advantage of a healthy workforce. As one of two keynotes, Dr. Alvin D. Jackson, Director, Ohio Department of Health has been invited to share with conference attendees the activities of the Healthy Ohio component of Governor Ted Strickland's comprehensive health care reform initiative, including the membership of the Healthy Ohio Business Council (HOBC), the seven Healthy Ohio regional business councils and update on the selection of the 2008 Healthy Ohio Worksite award winners.
